About
The Who: Artist specializing in mosaics, rabid traveler, introvert, creative problem solver, philosopher.
The “Why” is that I used to be a prolific writer, and one day I stopped. And I don’t like that I stopped.
In a class once, we were asked to assign a quote to each member of our group. A lovely woman of 80, black and born on Christmas Day on a coastal South Carolina plantation, handed me a slip of paper that read, “Pam: Don’t Hide Your Light Under a Bushel.”
Twelve years have passed, and before I know it, twelve more will follow them. I want to write again. And today feels like the day.

Yes…the Why is all…..there is nothing more nor less…that’s “why” i love you!!!

Hi Pam
I enjoyed reading your blog! I can’t imagine how much fun Laurel True’s studio was…lucky you. Nice to meet you in Martin Cheeks class too.
Laura.
Pamela,
I just discovered your blog – I am on the yahoo mosaic artists group with you… I have a blog too, I listed it above.
Working my way back through yours – it’s great and probably b/c I also write and do mosaics, not to mention a basically stream o’consciousness blog, I feel less alone out there as a non-mainstream-thinking person who is still trying to fit in.

I have a whole mess of broken china of various types and colors that I would like to give to some mosaic artist to use. The person I used to give them to apparently has moved. If you, or anyone you know, is intrested, please call 704-372-3936.
Thanks!
